Why Give a Catapult Gift Card?
Catapult gift cards make it easy for you to give the gift of choice to your friends, family and community. There are many ways to support girls and women on Catapult, and our Gift Cards let donors choose exactly how they want to give. Whether it’s teaching girls to read using mobile phones, providing family planning in remote areas or any of the other great solutions on Catapult, your community can be confident that their money is being put to the best possible use.

How do I buy a Gift Card?
You can buy Gift Cards by clicking on the "Give a Gift Card" button on this page. You may have to sign in or register for a Catapult account. Then simply tell us who you want to receive the gift card, write an optional message, fill in your payment information and you're done. When you're ready, click the "Place my order" button. 

How do I redeem a Gift Card?
You can redeem a Gift Card by clicking on the "Redeem a Gift Card" button on this page. Enter the code that you received with your card, and then click the "Redeem card" button. You may have to sign in or register for a Catapult account. The Gift Card amount will appear in your account. Then you're ready to find a project and make your donation!

What types of Gift Cards are available?
Catapult currently offers Gift Cards by email. And coming soon, print at home and biodegradable Gift Cards!

How much of my Gift Card goes toward projects?
All of it!

I'm having trouble purchasing or redeeming my Gift Card. Help!

Is there a minimum and maximum amount for Gift Cards?
You can purchase Gift Cards for any amount up to $10,000.
We'd suggest $25, $50, or more. 

Is there a fee for using a Gift Card?
There's no fee for buying or redeeming a Catapult Gift Card.

Can I make a donation for more than the amount on my Gift Card?
Sure! If your donation is for more than the amount of your Gift Card, you can pay for the balance using a credit card or PayPal. On the other hand, if you're donating is less than the amount of your Gift Card, the remaining balance stays on your card so you can use it later.

Do I receive a tax deduction when I purchase a Catapult Gift Card?
Yes. Because Catapult is a project of Women Deliver, a U.S. 501(c)3 organization, your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Do I receive a tax deduction when I redeem a Catapult Gift Card?
Unfortunately not. The deduction is given at the time of the Gift Card purchase.

Do I have to create an account in order to redeem my Gift Card?
Yes. You'll need to create a Catapult account to use your Gift Card. That way, we can keep track of your balance and make sure your donations get to the projects you choose. It's simple to create an account, and we won't send you anything you didn't ask for!

Will I get added to Catapult’s listserv if I redeem my Gift Card?
It's up to you. You can choose to opt in to our list. If you change your mind, you can unsubscribe any time. 

Can I personalize a Gift Card?
Absolutely! You can add a personal message to be sent along with your card.

Does my Gift Card expire?
Catapult Gift Cards are good for one year after purchase. But if your card expires with an unused portion, don't worry, your funds will still go to help projects in need via our "tipping fund". A portion may also go to help Catapult offset other donor transaction costs.
