Please review Catapult's guidelines and community rules. If you're OK with them, then Catapult is a good match for your organization.
Fees: Your organization pays no fees for being partners and no fees for posting projects on Catapult.
Voluntary donations: When a donor finalizes their payment on any project, they will have the option to add a donation to support Catapult’s operating costs. This is voluntary; they will opt in with an amount specified for Catapult. Otherwise, 100% of their donation will go to the partner.
Copyright: Catapult shares the copyright with partner organizations to all project content and other media, such as pictures or videos, uploaded to Catapult. If we use your assets, we’ll attribute them to your organization.
Logo and name use: Catapult may use your organization's name or logo on catapult.org and in our marketing efforts.
Email and privacy: We value privacy. Catapult agrees to not forward online donor’s email addresses to partners. At this stage of the platform, Catapult will manage all associated thank-you messages and email updates to donors.
Fund disbursement: Catapult will send funds to organizations through bank and wire transfers only. In all cases, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or cancel transfers to your organization if unsatisfied with the progress of the project funded or the contents of any update or report.
Use of funds: As a partner, you understand that funds disbursed for projects will be used only for activities described on your Catapult project page and only for exempt purposes set forth in 501(c)(3) of the U.S. IRS tax code. You may use the specified percentage of the total disbursed funds for general operating costs to support the project, if you’ve listed these in your budget. The rest of the money will be used for direct costs—activities and materials— described on your project page. No Catapult funds nor income can be used for influencing legislation or intervening for or against political candidates.
Operations or administrative costs: Catapult is about transparency — and about the real costs of implementing great work. You can and should include operating costs in your project’s budget; do this by listing either the dollar amount (USD) or the percentage
