Circulo de Vida Cancer Support and Resource Center

Our mission is to walk alongside Latinas living with cancer and their families as they find their way through the fear, confusion and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis. We aim to reduce the devastating effects of a cancer diagnosis by assisting Latinas in identifying coping skills that will assist them through the various stages of their illness, and support their ability to meet the challenge of a frightening disease. Services include translation for the patient and physician at the time of the diagnosis, in-hospital support, support groups, home and hospital visits, and in-home support for Latinas in the terminal phase of their illness. The program also provides family support to help loved ones understand their own reactions and get through the fear and grief that can paralyze families of people with cancer.
