About We are the sole organization in the state of Texas working full time to protect the reproductive rights of Texas women through the electoral and legislative processes. Mission Our mission is to recruit, develop, and sustain a constituency that uses the political process to promote public health policies that guarantee every woman access to the full range of reproductive healthcare. This includes responsible sexuality education, short and long term contraceptive methods, adequate pre-and post-natal care, and legal abortion. Description NARAL Pro-Choice Texas works to defend reproductive choices by supporting pro-choice candidates; lobbying during the Texas Legislative Session to protect and promote reproductive choices for women and their families; conducting hard-hitting research; educating legislators, the media and the public on the full range of reproductive health care options and issues; and organizing pro-choice activists at the grassroots level during legislative and electoral cycles.
